CHICAGO - Lorraine Collins Trapps, the mother of UIC head men's basketball coach Jimmy Collins, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 10.

A wake for Collins Trapps will be held at Garland Bros. Funeral Home in Syracuse, N.Y. on Friday. Funeral services will be held on Saturday.

Coach Collins will miss this Friday's game against Butler. Associate head coach Mark Coomes will handle head coaching duties in Collins' absence.
