CLEVELAND, Ohio- The UIC men's basketball team takes on Cleveland State this Saturday, Jan. 9 at 4:30 p.m. Central in a game televised live on Comcast SportsNet Chicago.
The game between the Flames (5-10, 1-4 Horizon League) and the Vikings (6-10, 2-2 Horizon League) will also air live on ESPN Radio 1000 AM, with Adam Levinson and Kenny Williams on the call.
Saturday's game will also feature a live audio stream on ESPNChicago.com and live webcasts on both www.horizonleaguenetwork.tv/uic and ESPN360.com.
The Flames will seek to snap a two-game skid.
Senior forward Jeremy Buttell is coming off the best performance of his career, scoring a career-high 31 points and pulling down 12 rebounds for his third career double-double against Youngstown State on Thursday.
Buttell, the team's leading rebounder at 6.8 rpg, also matched a career-high by hitting four three-pointers against the Penguins. The other time he hit four three-pointers was last year at the Wolstein Center versus Cleveland State.
Junior guard Robo Kreps continues to pace the Flames with the Horizon League's fifth-best scoring average of 15.5 ppg.
