CHICAGO - The UIC women's tennis squad continued its winning ways on Saturday morning, besting the visiting Crusaders of Valparaiso in a clean sweep, 7-0, at the UIC Outdoor Courts.

The Flames (16-3, 6-0 Horizon) claimed straight-set victories in all singles matches, and outdistanced themselves in doubles as well, winning the trio of matches by a clear margin.

With the win at No. 1 singles, sophomore Mariya Kovaleva extended her winning streak to 13 matches, having not lost since February 6 at Iowa State.

UIC will round out its regular season on their home turf next weekend, playing host to Butler for Senior Day on Saturday, April 17 before the season finale against Wright State on Sunday the 18. Both matches are slated to begin at 11 a.m.
