CHICAGO - For the second straight year, UIC junior Chris Bauer won the "Match The `Stache" contest held during the UIC men's basketball game against Cleveland State earlier this year.

Bauer, who may start a petition to have the annual contest renamed in his honor, captured the $250 first prize along with a pair of aviator sunglasses, courtesy of Marketplace Vision. Marketplace Vision is located at 1306 S. Halsted St., Chicago, IL, 60607.

The junior was chosen out of another strong field of competitors in 2011. UIC Athletic Director Jim Schmidt, along with Dr. Eric Baas of Marketplace Vision and other mustachioed UIC employees were among the judges for the second year in a row.
