"BIG D's" SURGE
Head coach Howard Moore reminds his senior class each season about playing with a sense of urgency, and taking advantage of every opportunity down the stretch of their college basketball careers. Senior center Darrin Williamsseems to have taken that challenge in full stride: In the past eight games, the 6-foot-9 center is averaging 11.9 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per contest. He has paced the Flames in rebounding in six-of those eight games, and scored in double figures five times.
