CHICAGO – As a part of The Great Chicago Fire Hydrants initiative, presented by Wintrust, Flames fans have the opportunity to bid on a five-foot tall, UIC-themed hydrant now through Sunday. All proceeds will benefit the 100 Club of Chicago, a non-profit organization that benefits families of fallen Chicago firefighter and police officers.

A collection of 101 hydrants representing each Chicago firehouse were placed throughout the city in tribute to the work and heroism of Chicago firefighters, with the UIC Flames-sponsored hydrant located near Navy Pier.

Proceeds from the auction will go to the 100 Club and will contribute to the education, domestic resources and children of families all over the Chicagoland area.
