Photos of 20th Annual Scholarship Classic
BOLINGBROOK, Ill. - UIC Athletics hosted the 20th Annual Scholarship Classic Golf Outing at the Bolingbrook Golf Club on Thursday, Aug. 29. Participants took part in 18 holes of Texas scramble and regular scramble play with various on-course contests throughout the afternoon. All funds raised will go towards the UIC General Athletic Scholarship Fund, which helps student-athletes receive financial aid.
The foursome taking first-place honors in the scramble play was EJ Donaghey, Chris Harlen, Loren Taylor and Jack Peirce. Claiming top accolades in the Texas scramble was the group of Jeff Garcia, Neil Lizaso, Jim Burke and Fred Dorby.
Five additional on-course competitions took place including Longest Putt Made, Longest Female Drive, Longest Male Drive, Straightest Drive and Closest to the Pin. The winners of those contests are listed below.
