Sept. 4, 2014 PHOTO GALLERY BOLINGBROOK, Ill. - The UIC athletic department recently held its 21st annual Scholarship Classic golf outing at the Bolingbrook Golf Club on August 28. Nearly 150 Flames supporters hit the links as all the proceeds from the event benefitted UIC's Athletic Scholarship Fund.
Golfers participated in both scramble and texas scramble style of play along with several on-the-course contests. After 18 holes, the Flames hosted a cocktail reception and dinner in which winners of the contest and silent auction prizes were announced. Silent auction items included White Sox and Cubs tickets, a Paul Konerko autographed baseball, complimentary foursome at Bolingbrook Golf Club, among other sports-themed pieces.
