CHICAGO - UIC men's basketball fans will have a plethora of opportunities to catch the Flames in action during the upcoming 2015-16 season. At least 23 games during the upcoming campaign will be seen live, including 10 that will be televised in Chicagoland and beyond.

The Flames will play eight games that will be broadcast on the Comcast SportsNet Chicago networks, and four of those contests will be produced and distributed by the American Sports Network for consumption throughout the Horizon League footprint. Locally, those games will air on CSN. Aside from its coverage of UIC basketball, Comcast SportsNet Chicago (part of the NBC Sports Group) is the television home for the most games and the most comprehensive coverage of the Chicago Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs and White Sox, reaching 4.7 million cable subscribers in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa & Wisconsin, and via satellite throughout the country on DirecTV and DISH Network.

UIC's first appearance on the CSN family comes on Wed., Dec. 2 when the DePaul Blue Demons trek to the UIC Pavilion for a crosstown battle between city foes on CSN+. Home games against Horizon League members Milwaukee (Jan. 16) and Cleveland State (Jan. 30) will also appear on CSN+, while Valparaiso's visit to the Windy City on Feb. 6 will air on CSN. Noted basketball broadcasters Jordan Bernfield (PxP) and David Kaplan (Analysis) are scheduled to be on the call for the CSN package of games.

The Flames' first showing on ASN happens on Wed., Dec. 16 when Illinois State arrives at the Pavilion for a non-conference game. The team's first Horizon League game of the season, on Jan. 2 at Valpo, is the first of three conference games that UIC will appear in on the network. A home game against Oakland on Sun., Feb. 21 and the regular-season finale at Milwaukee on Sun., Feb 28 will also air on ASN.

UIC will appear on the Big Ten Network on Saturday, Dec. 12 when it hosts Illinois at the United Center. BTN is readily available in more than 60 million homes across the United States and Canada. Additionally, the squad will appear on either ESPN2 or ESPNU when it visits the Motor City for an important conference clash on Friday, Jan. 8. against Detroit.

"We are extremely pleased with the many exposures and platforms our men's basketball team will have and be featured on this season," said UIC Athletic Director Jim Schmidt. "ESPN3 is growing quickly, and we're thrilled to be getting great local exposure through our CSN package of games. All of these broadcasts will give Chicagoland and fans around the country a great taste of the exciting new Flames team."
