CHICAGO -- UIC head men's basketball coach Steve McClain took a visit to the friendly confines of Wrigley Field on Friday, May 15, to throw out the first pitch and sing "Take Me Out To the Ball Game" as the Chicago Cubs battled the Pittsburgh Pirates.

McClain had the opportunity to meet several Cubs players, manager Joe Maddon and other executives of the MLB team. He also joined Pat Hughes and Ron Coomer on WBBM 780 AM during the sixth inning.

The Cubs eventually claimed an 11-10 victory against the Pirates in the 12th inning that day.
