CHICAGO – The UIC men's soccer team (2-5-1, 1-1-0 HL) will take the 200 mile trek up north to Green Bay, Wis., for a Saturday night Horizon League matchup with the Phoenix (2-6-0, 1-1-0 HL). Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT at Aldo Santaga Stadium.
The Flames head into the weekend after pickup up a 3-2 win Tuesday (Sept. 20) over Drake at Flames Field.

Abel Guzman scored for UIC, with
Dimitris Strantzalis,
Alex Cervantes and Fuentes adding assists.
Andrew Putna picked up his second win of the year after making four saves.
A total of eight goals have been scored by the Flames this season with the addition of seven assists, which ranks fourth in the Horizon League. Todd leads the team with three goals, followed by Fuentes with two, as Todd additionally owns a team-high two assists. UIC has put up 79 shots with 36 on goal, as Todd (14), Fuentes (12) and Guzman (10) own the top numbers.
Putna has played upwards of 570 minutes in goal this season and has made 20 saves while producing a 2.04 goals-against-average.
Sokratis Vasilas has also earned minutes, making eight saves in the process.
Green Bay enters into competition after a 2-0 loss to Oakland on Sept. 17. Its two wins on the year have come with an upset shutout over Wright State and off a forfeit by Drake after use of an ineligible player.
The Phoenix have scored just three goals with Andre Baires (2) and William Nordenstrom on the tallies, as Robleh Omar has added the lone assist. They have put up 45 shots and had 18 on goal, with Nordenstrom having the most attempts with eight.
Kyle Ihn has played every minute in goal for Green Bay and has made 25 saves while taking a 2.14 goals-against-average.
The Flames hold an 18-22-1 record in the all-time series with the Phoenix, and are 6-9-1 in games played on the road. UIC has taken the last five regular-season meetings, including last season's 2-0 victory at home.
