CHICAGO – The UIC men's soccer team (3-5-1, 2-1-0 HL) will take to the pitch at Flames Field for a Horizon League tilt Saturday night against Northern Kentucky (0-8-2, 0-3-0 HL). Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT.

The Flames have won their last two matches, with their most recent victory coming as a 1-0 shutout at Green Bay (Sept. 24).
Jose Fuentes scored the lone goal in the game, bringing his point total on the week to five to earn Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Andrew Putna earned his second clean sheet of the year after making two saves.

Max Todd (3) lead the team in scoring and tie for fifth in the Horizon League, while they have each put up 16 shots. Todd additionally owns a team-best three assists for nine total points, which places him fourth in the conference standings.

The Norse have produced seven goals with four in conference action, led by Kobie Qualah with two, as Anders Mathiesen has put up two of the team's four assists. Tucker Monheimer leads the four players with more than 10 shots with 14 attempts, followed by Qualah with 13.

Northern Kentucky has rotated between four goalkeepers this season, with Owen Betz and Christian Carey getting the last two starts. Carey (2.32 GAA) has received the most minutes, with Jared Leyland (2.40 GAA) earning the next highest total. The team has collectively made 35 saves while taking a 2.06 goals-against-average.
