CHICAGO – With just four games under its belt, the reigning Horizon League regular season champion UIC men's soccer team (0-3-1) will get its conference campaign underway Saturday when it hosts rival Milwaukee (1-2-0) at Flames Field at 7 p.m. CT.

Positioned at home for the first time this season, the Flames were unable to use it to their advantage as they suffered a 4-1 loss to Marquette (Sept. 2) and fell short, 2-1, to 13th-ranked Denver (Sept. 4).
Jose Fuentes scored the first goal of the weekend against the Golden Eagles just 31 seconds into the match, as
Yuri Domiciano picked up the tally versus the Pioneers on a penalty kick. Through the two games, UIC outshot its opponents, 24-22, and put nine shots on goal.

The Flames have collected four goals on the year, with
Max Todd adding the other tallies in addition to Fuentes and Domiciano, with Todd and
Sasha Simon adding the assists. The team ranks fourth in the Horizon League with 43 shots that have been contributed by 14 different players, with

Milwaukee makes its way to Chicago with three games on its plate after opening the season with a 2-1 win over Eastern Illinois and dropping a pair of matches to UMKC, 2-1, and Drake, 3-2.

The Panthers have scored five goals on the year, contributed by Kostas Kotselas (2), Reid Stevenson (2) and Francesco Saporito. Saporito additionally owns three of the team's seven assists and has put up a team-high 11 shots with 10 on goal for a .909 shots-on-goal percentage.
