CHICAGO- The UIC men's gymnastics team will travel to Atlanta, Ga., for the second year in a row to take on William & Mary at the 34th annual Peach Tree Invitational. The squads will be competing inside the Georgia State University Sports Arena with a start time of 1 p.m. CT.
The Flames notched their 2016 season high at last year's invitational finishing with a score of 399.000, and executed top-tier performances from individuals on almost every event.
Last year's highlights included
Alexander Dumstorf on floor (14.950) and parallel bars (13.900),
CJ Patton on pommel horse (13.900),
Keith Kohn on high bar (13.200) and last season's senior
Trent Jarrett. Jarrett earned a 13.800 on rings and a 13.600 on vault tying with fellow teammate
Wes Diveney.
UIC was last in action when they faced Iowa on January 22nd; the Flames ended the day with a final score of 374.300, but fell short to the Hawkeyes' (404.100).
