CHICAGO -- While it did not count toward the team's overall record, UIC's exhibition game on November 1 against Illinois Wesleyan served as the unofficial opening to the 2018-19 basketball season. It was the first time that the Flames set foot in the UIC Pavilion, which showed off some significant upgrades since the end of last year.
