The UIC Flames ran in to a red-hot Western Michigan team Tuesday afternoon, and left Kalamazoo on the wrong end of a 7-0 score.
"Western is always a tough matchup, and they proved it today," head coach
Hans Neufeld said. The Broncos have won four in a row and improved to 15-4 on the season. "Marco and Kailash played solid in doubles" as the Flames' lone pair to win their set. "Johan and Kailash competed well in singles."
Following last week's loss at Detroit Mercy, and the season opening setback at Michigan State, UIC was outscored 21-0 in three matches in the state of Michigan.
