MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The UIC women's tennis team (12-6, 6-1 HL) made it five straight with a 6-1 dominating win over Milwaukee (5-16, 1-6 HL). The Flames took two out of three doubles matches for the early advantage and took six out of seven singles matches to reel in the win.

Georgie Sanders and
Lejla Colic outlasted Nicole Clarke and Loren Nelson in the No. 1 match, 7-5, and
Melika LeBlanc joined
Rachel Le Comber for a 6-3 win at No. 2 against Labina Petrovska and Anna Daniel Fuentes to give the Flames a 1-0 lead. The No. 3 match featuring
Miranda Rodriguez Diaz de Leon and
Viktoria Seifert went to Milwaukee's Lucy Harper and Agata Jurczak, 6-4.
SINGLES HIGHLIGHTS
Colic won in straight sets at No. 1, 6-4, 6-1 versus Petrovska, and Sanders endured a three-set marathon with Jurczak and landed on top, 7-6 (3), 6-7 (4), 11-9. LeBlanc rallied after dropping the first set to Nelson to finish the match with a win, 2-6, 6-4, 6-4, giving UIC the victory. Le Comber's win streak halted with a 6-3, 6-2 loss to Clarke at No. 4, 6-3, 6-2. Seifert brought her win streak into the double digits with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 5 against Fuentes, her tenth in-a-row. Zuzu won her fourth straight with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Harper.
