CHICAGO -- The UIC men's basketball team will play on national television at least four times during the 2019-20 regular season as the Horizon League announced the conference's television schedule Tuesday (Oct. 1).

The Flames will be making a pair of appearances on ESPN2 during league play as part of the Horizon League's "Anything Can Happen on Friday" campaign. Additionally, UIC has the potential to play on ESPNU on Friday, Jan. 3, when the Flames travel to take on Green Bay. The game is part of the ESPNU Wildcard process, with the network picking between the Flames' contest and the Wright State vs. Oakland game, with final the final selection coming 21 days in advance.

The televised league games follow a non-conference schedule which features a pair of nationally televised games for UIC. The Flames will appear on ESPNU for their road opener Friday, Nov. 8, at Memphis. UIC's game against intercity rival DePaul on Dec. 14 will be broadcast on FS1.
