- The Panthers remained unanswered leading by 24-5, but Asha Spencer, with less than three minutes left in the first period, made a layup to bring the score to 24-5.
- The first period ended with Panthers up by 24, after Lampley made two good free-throws, making it 31-7.
- Tiana Jackson fired first at the top of the second quarter by making layup, which was followed up with four extra points, making it a 31-13 game.
- The Panthers ended their drought by making two good free-throws and a jumper, 36-17.
- With less than a minute left in the first half, Lampley scored a jumper to bring her to a total of 11 earned points. The first half ended with a 40-22 lead for the Panthers.

- EIU started the third quarter off by making a total of seven points, bring the score up 47-22.
- Kiarra Thompson got the engine started after scoring a layup, which gave way to six combined points by Abreanna Lake, Lampley, and Thompson.
- The third period ended with the Panthers scoring a jumper, making it 61-34.
- The Panthers fired first in the fourth period, until the Flames answered with their first field goal, a three pointer made by Jealissa Presswood.
- The second half ended with EIU outscoring UIC in the fourth to defeat the Flames, 80-45.
