LOCKDOWN D
• In UIC's victory over Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday (Dec. 7), the Flames defense was on full display.
• The Flames defense allowed a season-low 49 points, marking the first time the Flames held an opponent under 50 points since an 84-45 victory over Trinity Christian on Dec. 23, 2017. In the first half alone, UIC's defense limited the Mastodons to just 14 points, the first time UIC's defense held an opponent under 15 points in a half since a 14-point first-half performance by Judson on Dec. 30, 2014.
• Purdue Fort Wayne's .368 shooting percentage and .172 3-point percentage both rank as the second-lowest effort by a UIC opponent this year. The Mastodons' two free throws made and attempted both rank as the fewest allowed by UIC this year.
