The UIC women's soccer program took a leap forward in 2019.  The Flames established a best-ever win-loss record, won their first Horizon League tournament match, and played for the conference championship.

In conference play, UIC became only the second school to win seven of nine games, joining five-time champion Milwaukee.  Along the way, they won a record six straight games, and finished fifth in the nation in winning percentage improvement from last year.  They also came in second in the country in RPI improvement from 2018.
