Conference competition continues for UIC Sunday, as the Flames will host Midwest Independent Conference foe Southeast Missouri in a dual meet at the UIC Dorin Forum. The second to last home meet of the season will get under way at 3 pm.
The Flames have outscored SEMO in each of the last three meetings, including the MIC Championships in 2017 and 2018. UIC is riding a five meet winning streak and boasts a #30 national ranking. That would be the team's highest final ranking since 2012. It had also been since 2012 that the Flames scored at least 195 in three straight meets, a feat they accomplished earlier this season.
The meet will feature the MIC's two top freshmen.
Alisa Sheremeta and SEMO's Anna Kaziska have combined to win five of the six Newcomer of the Week awards this season.
