CHICAGO – The UIC women's tennis team (16-4, 6-0 HL) took home its second-straight shutout and grabbed its 16th win of the season with a 7-0 victory over Green Bay (3-14, 0-7 HL). The Flames dominated the first two doubles matches to earn the early lead and went on to take all six singles matches by way of straight sets to remain unbeaten in Horizon League play and extend its win streak to 14. The Flames also honored seniors Rachel Le Comber, Georgie Sanders and Viktoria Seifert prior to the match for their successful UIC careers.  

Doubles Highlights
Rachel Le Comber and Karyna Bihel toppled Theresa Tebon and Kimberley Kaome, 6-1, at No. 2 to open up doubles action. Lucie Prochazkova and Lejla Colic combined to take down Tallie Piaskowski and Tiana Glazbrook at No. 1, 6-2, handing UIC the doubles point. Georgie Sanders and Viktoria Seifert were ahead 3-2 in the No. 3 match against Monika Gredzinski and Yazmin Glazbrook, but the match ultimately went unfinished.

Singles Highlights
Prochazkova made quick work out of Kaome at No. 3 with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep. Bihel followed with another dominating win for the Flames at No. 2, 6-0, 6-1, over Tiana Glazbrook. Seifert defeated Gredzinski at No. 6, 6-0, 6-4, clinching the win for UIC. Le Comber took down Tebon at No. 5, 6-2, 6-1 for her 12th-straight win and 77th career victory. The senior is now just one win away from the seventh spot all-time in UIC history. Colic came out on top against Yazmin Glazbrook, 6-0, 6-3 and Sanders completed the sweep at No. 4 with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Piaskowski.
