WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The No. 1 seeded UIC women's tennis team (19-5) punched its ticket to its second-straight Horizon League title match on Saturday with a 4-1 take down of No. 5 Wright state. After a dominatant showing in doubles, the Flames quickly took three of the first four singles matches in straight sets to bring down the Raiders and claim their spot in the championship match.
Doubles Highlights
Lucie Prochazkova and
Karyna Bihel toppled over Luisa Pelayo and Grace Whitney in the No. 2 match, 6-1.
Lejla Colic and
Georgie Sanders paired up for a 6-3 win at No. 1 against Haily Morgan and Madison Riley, giving UIC the 1-0 lead. The No. 3 match featuring
Georgia Gulin and
Rachel Le Comber as well as Wright State's Jillian Milano and Andreea Craciun went unfinished.

Singles Highlights
Gulin posted a near sweep of Whitney at No. 6, 6-0, 6-1 to put UIC ahead by two. The Raiders got their lone point of the day at No. 5, as Milano defeated Le Comber, 6-0, 6-0. Bihel put the Flames up a pair in the No. 2 match with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Morgan. Colic then clinched the victory as she took care of Craciun in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4 at No.1.
