CHICAGO -- UIC begins Horizon League play on Friday, Sept. 20, as the Flames play host to Wright State.

Friday's match will be the Horizon League opener for both teams. UIC will be looking to win its league opener for the second consecutive season after defeating Detroit Mercy, 2-0, a year ago. The Flames' 3-3-1 record is the program's best through seven matches, topping the 2-4-1 mark in 2015.
