UIC will return to Flames Field, where they have the nation's longest winning streak of 17 games, Tuesday night for a non-conference match against Northern Illinois.
The Flames have won all four of their home matches this season, but have been on a three-match road trip since September 17. All three of those contests went to overtime. UIC's home matches have not been as close. The team has outscored its opponents 14-2 in four home outings.
"We are looking forward to playing at home again, where our fans have given us tremendous support so far this season,"
Sean Phillips said. "Playing Northern Illinois is always a challenge and this year will be no exception. We will need to play with focus and discipline for 90 minutes if we want to get a result."
