CHICAGO -- UIC returns to action on Sunday, Jan. 12, as the Flames play host to league-leading Wright State. Tipoff is set for 3:12 p.m. inside Credit Union 1 Arena.

3 POINT PLAY
• UIC dropped a 68-52 decision to Northern Kentucky Friday (Jan. 10) evening to fall to 1-4 in Horizon League action. Michael Diggins fell one rebound shy of a double-double, finishing with a team-15 points and nine rebounds.
• The Flames lead the conference in blocked shots, swatting away 71 shots this year. Wright State is second-best, having only recorded 63 blocks this season. UIC's 71 blocks this year rank 44th nationally.
• Tarkus Ferguson is one of two active players in Division I basketball with at least 1,300 career points, 600 career rebounds and 500 career assists. He is joined by Merrimack's Juvaris Hayes.

SERIES STUFF
• Sunday's contest is 61st all-time meeting between the Flames and the Raiders. Wright State owns a two-game advantage, 31-29, in the series.
• UIC swept the season series a year ago. In the Flames' 75-72 overtime victory at Wright State on Dec. 28, then-freshman Travell Washington hit a game-winning 3-pointer as time expired to stun the Raiders.
• The Flames completed the season sweep with a 67-53 victory at home on Feb. 1. Marcus Ottey and Tarkus Ferguson scored 14 points each and held the Raiders to a season low in points while limiting Wright State to 28% shooting.
• Bill Wampler leads WSU's attack, averaging 15 points per game. Loudon Love ranks second on the team with 14.8 points and a team-leading 10.2 rebounds per contest.

ROAD WARRIORS
• Sunday's contest against Wright State will be the final home game for the Flames for almost an entire month.
• UIC will embark on a season-long five-game roadtrip following the game and will not return to Credit Union 1 Arena until a Feb. 6 contest against Milwaukee.
• The Flames will end the season playing five of their final seven games in the comforts of their home arena.

TEAM REBOUNDING
• UIC has employed a team rebounding effort this year, as no player averages more than five rebounds per contest and five different players average at least four boards per game.
• Braelen Bridges (4.9), Tarkus Ferguson (4.8),  Michael Diggins (4.3), Godwin Boahen (4.2) and Jordan Blount (4.1) lead the rebounding effort for UIC.
• Eight different Flames have led the team in rebounding in games throughout the season, led by Boahen, Diggins and Bridges with four games each.
