CHICAGO -- The UIC men's basketball team looks to push its season-long winning streak to four games on Saturday, Jan. 25, when the Flames face Detroit Mercy on the road. Tipoff is set for 12 p.m. (CT) in Detroit.

3 POINT PLAY
•    UIC picked up its third conference victory in a row with an 80-50 rout of Oakland Thursday evening. Tarkus Ferguson filled the stat sheet, finishing with 19 points, eight assists, seven rebounds, three steals and two blocks. Godwin Boahen added 14 points off the bench while Michael Diggins scored 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting. The Flames set season highs as a team in 3-point field goals (12), made field goals (33), field goal percentage (60.0%), assists (25) and margin of victory (+30).
•    The Flames lead the conference in blocked shots per game with 4.0 and total blocks with 85. UIC's 82 blocks this year rank 46th nationally.
•     Tarkus Ferguson is one of two active players in Division I basketball with at least 1,400 career points, 600 career rebounds and 500 career assists. He is joined by Merrimack's Juvaris Hayes.

SERIES STUFF
•    Saturday's meeting will be the 53rd all-time meeting between the Flames and the Titans, with Detroit Mercy owning a 31-21 advantage.
•    UIC has dominated the series recently, winning the last six contests between the two programs.
•    The Flames picked up an 80-71 road victory last year in the regular season finale on March 2 after claiming a 79-67 home win on Jan. 24, 2019.
•    Antoine Davis, head coach Mike Davis' son, leads the league in scoring, averaging 23.8 points per game.
•    Mike Davis is in his second year at the held of the Detroit Mercy program.

ROAD WARRIORS
•    UIC is in the middle of a season-long five game roadtrip. UIC will not return to Credit Union 1 Arena until a Feb. 6 contest against Milwaukee.
•    The Flames will end the season playing five of their final seven games in the comforts of their home arena.

THE ROUT IS ON
•    UIC dominated from the opening tip in an 80-50 rout of Oakland on Jan. 23.
•    The victory, UIC's third consecutive conference win, was the Flames' first road win by 30 or more points since a 77-44 victory at Detroit on Jan. 18, 2003. The win also marked UIC's first win by 30+ points in any venue since a 84-45 home win over Trinity Christian on Dec. 23, 2017.
•    UIC set season highs in 3-point field goals (12), made field goals (33), field goal percentage (60.0%), assists (25) and margin of victory (+30).
• The win marked the third-ever win by UIC over Oakland.

BACK-TO-BACK
•    UIC picked up it's second consecutive victory in Horizon League play, and first true road win of the year, with a 75-66 win at IUPUI on Jan. 18.
•    It was the second time this season, and second in as many games, in which five Flames scored in double figures.
•    UIC's defense limited IUPUI to just 33.3% shooting, the second-lowest shooting percentage by an opponent this year.
•    The Flames blocked seven shots in the contest, the second-most in a single game this year (10 vs. Robert Morris - Nov. 21).
