CHICAGO -- Horizon League play is set to begin this month and the UIC men's and women's basketball programs have jointly announced the game times for all contests at Credit Union 1 this season. Each squad will play five weekends at home in which they will face the same opponent in back-to-back days. The first such weekend is set for Dec. 19-20.
The UIC women's basketball team opens conference play on the road this weekend before its first home series on Dec.19-20 against Detroit Mercy. Those games will be played at 1 p.m. on Dec. 19 and 11 a.m. on Dec. 20 ahead of men's games against Oakland at 6 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively.
On the men's side, they will return home to ring in 2021 with contests against Detroit Mercy on Jan. 1-2. Both games will tip at 3 p.m. One weekend also features the women's team home alone, Jan. 22-23 against Northern Kentucky. Contests will begin at 4 p.m. on Jan. 22 and 3 p.m. the following day.
UIC will host three additional doubleheader weekends on Jan. 15-16, Feb. 6-7 and Feb. 19-20. The complete home schedule, which remains subject to change, is below:

At this time, UIC will not host fans for home games at Credit Union 1 Arena due to current public health regulations. Flames fans can watch all men's basketball games on the ESPN family of networks, as in past years.
