CHICAGO -- The UIC men's basketball team plays its final road game of the regular season Sunday (Feb. 16) afternoon when the Flames face second-place Northern Kentucky. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. (CT) in Highland Heights, Kentucky.
3 POINT PLAY
• UIC attempt to sweep the season series from league-leading Wright State fell short Friday, as the Flames dropped a 75-58 decision on the road. Three players scored in double figures, led by
Tarkus Ferguson's team-high 18 points.Â
• The Flames lead the conference in blocked shots per game with 42 and total blocks with 114. UIC's 114 blocks this year rank 33rd nationally. The Flames rank 32nd in the country with 372 assists on the year.

Tarkus Ferguson is one of two active players in Division I basketball with at least 1,400 career points, 600 career rebounds and 500 career assists. He is joined by Merrimack's Juvaris Hayes.
SERIES STUFF
• UIC is looking to split the season series after the Norse took a 68-52 decision in Chicago back on Jan. 10.

Michael Diggins led the attack, scoring a team-high 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting while nearing a double-double with nine rebounds.
Tarkus Ferguson added 12 points
Marcus Ottey poured in 11 points.
• Northern Kentucky sits in second place in the Horizon League standings at 11-3 in league play and 19-7 overall. Dantez Walton leads the Norse attack, averaging a team-leading 16.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.
• Northern Kentucky's defense starts at the perimiter, as the Norse rank 12th nationally in 3-point field goal defense. Opponents are shooting just 28.7% from long distance aginst Northern Kentucky.
HOME SWEET HOME
• After playing five consecutive games on the road, UIC will play five of its final seven games of the season, including games against Milwaukee and Green Bay last weekend.
• The Flames' lone roadtrip during the closing stretch is Feb. 14-16, when UIC travels to take on the top two teams in the league, Wright State and Northern Kentucky.

• When UIC has scored 70 or more points in a game, it has usually resulted in a positive outcome.
• The Flames are 10-2 on the year when scoring 70 or more points, including a 7-2 mark when scoring between 70-79 points.
• UIC has won its last five games, and seven of its last eight, when reaching the 70-point mark, including a 71-58 win over Green Bay last time out.
• The Flames scored a season-high 90 points in its 90-83 overtime victory at Youngstown State on Jan. 30.
