CHICAGO -- The UIC men's basketball team looks to bounce back to its winning ways on Saturday afternoon as the Flames play host to Green Bay. Tipoff inside Credit Union 1 Arena is slated for 3:12 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN3.
3 POINT PLAY
• UIC hot streak came to an end Thursday (Feb. 6) with a 74-57 setback against Milwaukee inside Credit Union 1 Arena.
Tarkus Ferguson led the Flames in scoring (14), rebounding (6) and assists (4) while
Michael Diggins added 11 points.
Braelen Bridges matched a career-high with three blocks.Â
• The Flames lead the conference in blocked shots per game with 4.2 and total blocks with 106. UIC's 106 blocks this year rank 30th nationally. The Flames rank 34th in the country with 356 assists on the year.

Tarkus Ferguson is one of two active players in Division I basketball with at least 1,400 career points, 600 career rebounds and 500 career assists. He is joined by Merrimack's Juvaris Hayes.
SERIES STUFF
• UIC is looking to split the season series against the Phoenix after Green Bay picked up a 81-75 victory at home back on January 3.
• Three Flames scored in double figures, led by
Tarkus Ferguson's 19 points.
Marcus Ottey scored 17 and
Jordan Blount added 10 while
Braelen Bridges neared a double-double with nine points an seven rebounds.
• The Phoenix, who sit in third in the Horizon League standings at 7-5 in league play, have won four consecutive meetings between the two schools. UIC is looking for its first win against Green Bay since an 83-75 win on the road on Feb. 16, 2018.
• Green Bay is one of the highest-scoring teams in the nation, ranking sixth in the country with 81.9 points per game.
HOME SWEET HOME
• After playing five consecutive games on the road, UIC returns home for five of its final seven games of the season, beginning this weekend with Milwaukee and Green Bay.
• The last time the Flames took to the court at Credit Union 1 Arena, UIC knocked off league-leading Wright State, 76-72, handing the Raiders their first conference loss of the year.
• Five of UIC's final seven games of the regular season will be played at home, with the Flames' lone roadtrip coming next weekend with trips to Wright State and Northern Kentucky.
LEADERS OF THE PACK
• Looking at the Horizon League schools in conference play, UIC leads in a number of statistical categories.
• In conference-only games, the Flames lead the league in field goal percentage (.462), field goal percentage defense (.409), rebounds allowed (33.8), defensive rebounds collected (26.9) and blocked shots (4.9), while ranking second in 3-point field goal percentage defense (.282) and 3-point field goal percentage (.377).
MARCH OF THE PENGUINS
• UIC used a 14-5 run to close the game to force overtime against Youngstown State (Jan. 30) before outscoring the Penguins, 15-8, in the extra period.
• The Flames marched to the line nine times during the overtime period, sealing the victory with an 8-for-9 shooting performance from the charity stripe.
