Jacob Graiber is an Academic All-American for the second straight year.
Graiber, who carries a 3.60 GPA in UIC's graduate school of business, was named a First Team Academic All-American by CoSIDA. The nationwide vote of college and university sports information directors put Graiber on the elite squad a year after selecting him to the Second Team in 2020.
Graiber is pursuing a master's degree in finance, after earning his bachelor's degree in finance as well. He plans on becoming a wealth management advisor.
In addition to becoming a two-time Academic All-American, Graiber was recently named to the Horizon League All-Academic Team for the second straight year. He is a two-time Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year, and was awarded All-League honors every season he played in the conference.
Graiber is the first and only student-athlete in men's soccer program history to earn Academic All-American distinction.
