MESSED AROUND AND GOT A TRIPLE-DOUBLE
•    Teyvion Kirk collected the third triple-double in UIC history in the Flames' win over Oakland on Dec. 20.
•    The junior scored a career-high 22 points and brought in a career-best 11 rebounds to go along with 11 assists. He became the third player in program history to record a triple-double, joining Godwin Boahen (Dec. 22, 2016) and Tarkus Ferguson (Dec. 5, 2018).
•    Kirk is one of nine players in Division I basketball to record a triple-double this season and one of two Horizon League player to do so.

DISH IT OUT
•    Teyvion Kirk had a stellar performance against Valparaiso on Dec. 1, finishing the game with 14 points and 14 assists.
•    The 14 helpers are the most for UIC this season and most by a UIC player since Martell Bailey had 15 on Nov. 23, 2003.
•    Kirk is just 1-of-17 players nationally since the start of the 2010-11 season, and one of two players this year, to finish a game with at least 14 points and 14 assists while committing 1 or fewer turnovers.
•    On the year, Kirk averages a team-leading 6.2 assists per game, second in the Horizon League and 13th nationally.
•    Kirk has accounted for 93 of UIC's 217 assists this year. Kirk's 93 assists on the season are second-most in the Horizon League and 17th nationally.

AHALE FROM DOWNTOWN
•    Jamie Ahale had a career day for the Flames in a 74-72 win over Oakland on Dec. 19.
•    The senior scored a career-high 25 points on a career-best eight 3-pointers.
•     The eight made triples is one shy of the program record of nine, set by Brian Hill against Western Michigan on Dec. 1, 1990.
•    Ahale's eight triples are tied for the 12th-most in a single game in Division I action this season.
•    On the year, 114 of Ahale's 122 points (93.4%) have come from long distance, with the other eight points coming at the free throw line.
•    104 of Ahale's 105 field goal attempts have been from beyond the arc this season.
