CHICAGO -- The UIC volleyball team closes out the home portion of its schedule this weekend, playing host to a pair of MVC opponents inside the Flames Athletic Center. Friday's match against will also serve as Senior Night, with UIC honoring it's lone graduating Flame,
Paola Santiago, following the match.
FIRST SERVE
• Action will begin on Friday, Nov. 11, when UIC takes on Illinois State at 6 p.m. before rounding out the weekend with a 3 p.m. match against Bradley on Saturday.
• Due to a rescheduled match, UIC will play three matches in three consecutive days. Following the UIC-Murray State postponement on Nov. 4, the two teams will be making the match up on Sunday, Nov. 13. It will be a neutral site match, with both teams heading to Terre Haute, Indiana to square off.
• UIC will be looking to pick up the season sweep over all three schools. The Flames swept Bradley and Murray State earlier this year in addition to taking down Illinois State by a 3-1 margin.
• Head coach
Justin Ingram became the fourth coach in UIC history to notch 100 career wins with the Flames with the team's 3-1 win over Illinois State on Oct. 2. In his sixth year at the helm of the program, Ingram is now 105-61 all-time with the Flames.
IN-STATE WINS
• The Flames are currently 7-2 against in-state opponents this year and will look to improve to 9-2 when they square off against Illinois State and Bradley.
• UIC went 4-2 in non-conference play, defeating Eastern Illinois, Chicago State, Loyola and DePaul.Â
• The Flames are a perfect 3-0 against in-state MVC opponents, having defeated Illinois State, Bradley and Southern Illinois.
OBLENA REACHES 1K

Jaclyn Oblena became the 24th player in program history to reach 1,000 career digs when she eclipsed the mark this past Saturday at Missouri State.
• Oblena entered the match with 996 digs and picked up a match-high 23 to reach the milestone. The junior now has 1,048 career digs.
• UIC now has two active players with over 1,000 career digs, as
Paola Santiago currently has 1,285 career digs.
