After solidifying their first Missouri Valley Conference win on Wednesday, the UIC men's basketball team has another conference challenge on Saturday as they travel to Peoria to take on the Bradley Braves.
The game will be broadcast live on the ESPN+ at 1 p.m. Live audio streaming is also available on the men's basketball schedule page, as well as the blue button at the top of this release. The Voice of the Flames Jonathan Hood will have all the play-by-play action for you, and former Flame Kenny Williams will serve as color analyst.
MATCHUP BREAKDOWN
- Saturday's match-up at Carver Arena will be the 7th meeting between the two sides, with Bradley holding a 5-2 record against UIC.
- The Flames lost the most recent matchup to the Braves in Peoria in 2019.
- This is Brian Wardle's eighth year as head coach of the Braves. During his time there, Wardle built Bradley into a MVC contender, winning back-to-back championships in 2019 and 2020.
- Rienk Mast leads the way for Bradley, averaging 13.6 points and 8 rebounds on the year, both leading numbers for the team.
