CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA– The UIC women's basketball team (11-7, 3-4 MVC) continues their Iowa road trip when they take on UNI (11-5, 6-1 MVC) Saturday afternoon.

This is the first time the programs have met on the hardwood in 16 years. Set to play for the 16th time, the Panthers lead the Flames in the series, 10-5. The Flames last victory came back on Dec. 4, 2003, in a 70-61 victory at home.

The Panthers hold the top spot in the MVC, having lost to Belmont back on Jan. 8. The Flames sit eighth in the standings in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. CT and is going to be streamed on ESPN+

  • She leads the Flames in scoring (13.8 PPG) and rebounds (7.0 RPG).
The Panthers Progress Report
  • UNI is a team that doesn't make too many mistakes. They are 15th in the nation and first in the MVC for turnovers, averaging 12.6 per game.
