CHICAGO – The UIC men's basketball team (9-13, 1-10 MVC) returns home Sunday, as it prepares for a 2:00 p.m. matchup against Bradley (14-8, 7-4 MVC).

MATCHUP BREAKDOWN
- The Flames and Braves will meet Sunday for the second time this season, with the first meeting occurring on Dec. 31, 2022. The Braves got the best of UIC in Peoria, Ill. on New Year's Eve, the Flames' second-largest margin of defeat this season at 45-79.
- The Braves have won three of their last five games, including a Wednesday night triumph in overtime over rival Illinois State.
- UIC will look to find it's rhythm offensively Sunday, as the Braves rank second in the MVC in team defense, averaging just 61.48 points allowed per game.
- Leading Braves scorer and rebounder Rienk Mast had a monster game the last time these two teams met, grabbing 17 rebounds to go along with 13 points.

MILESTONES
- Graduate student Tre Anderson tallied four assists in UIC's Jan. 7 defeat at Indiana State, bringing his career total to an even 200. Anderson also surpassed 800 career points scored with a 27 point effort Jan. 21 against UNI.
- Toby Okani snagged five rebounds in the Flames' Jan. 10 overtime loss to Drake, with the second of those rebounds being his 300th career board. Okani also set a new career-high in points Jan 17 at Valparaiso with 29 points.

TOUCHING 70
- In games where UIC scores at least 70 points, their overall record is 6-3, whereas games when the Flames score 69 or fewer points, their record drops to 3-10.
- The Flames have only hit the 70 point mark in three of their last 10 games, all three home losses (Belmont - Jan. 4, Drake - Jan. 10, UNI - Jan. 21).

- The Flames average 12.64 assists per game this season, which ranks them seventh in the MVC.
- In terms of turnover margin, UIC ranks fourth in the MVC, averaging only 13.18 turnovers a game while turning it's opponents over 14.55 times per game, for an average margin of +1.36.

- The men's basketball game against Bradley will serve as the first game of a split double-header with the Flames' women's basketball team, who is slated to take on Illinois State at Credit Union 1 Arena at 5:00 p.m.
- Tickets purchased for Sunday's men's basketball game will be honored for admittance to the UIC women's basketball game.
