FLAMES FACTS
- UIC enters a short two-match road trip as winners of two of its last three matches, with the lone defeat coming at the hands of current MVC front-runners Western Michigan (7-1-2, 2-0 MVC). The 1-0 loss against the Broncos at Flames Field Saturday was UIC's first of the season in one-goal contests (previously 2-0).
- Scoring early has been crucial for UIC thus far, as the Flames are 7-0-1 in matches where they tally the first goal of the contest. Conversely, when surrendering the first goal of the match to the opponents, UIC is 0-2.
- Despite being shut out against for the first time this season against WMU, the Flames still rank first in The Valley in scoring offense, averaging 2.1 goals per match, as well as leading the conference in total goals with 21 through 10 matches.
- Bart Muns (Amsterdam, Netherlands/Santa Barbara CC) continues to lead UIC in goals as well as points, as his five goal outburst over the span of three matches leapt him to the top of the roster in that category.
- Jesus De Vicente (Casas Bajas, Spain/Iowa Western CC) has paced the Flames in terms of assists, as his eight helpers rank first in The Valley. His pace of .889 assists per match also ranks the redshirt junior third in all of NCAA Division I in that category.
- Grad transfer goalkeeper Oren Asher (Hetzliya, Israel/Rutgers) ranks third in the MVC in goals against average (1.00) and also ranks third with four clean sheets on the year.

The Blue Demons come into Wednesday's match winless in their last eight matches, as their lone victory came in the opening match of the season against Lindenwood. DePaul does have an impressive 1-1 draw against nationally ranked Northwestern, a team that handed UIC its first defeat of the season 4-1 on Sept. 11.
