INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 3, 2023) - Dasa Urbankova (Brno, Czech Republic/Menlo College) continued her dominance on the golf course as the graduate student won the individual title after shooting -4 (206) over the two-day event. Urbankova's score of 206 breaks her own program record by five strokes for the lowest 54 hole total. The Flames finished the event in second-place out of the 16 program field. UIC's cumulative team score of 869 is the second lowest in program history for a 54 hole competition.  COMMENT FROM HEAD COACH ANGELA RAYHILL

"It was a successful tournament for our program. While we didn't have the finish we wanted, this event was something our team will learn from and this experience ultimately makes them better. Their games are in a great spot as we head into our event at Loyola next week."

COMMENT FROM GRADUATE STUDENT DASA URBANKOVA

"I'm very happy I won my second tournament of the fall season. It's been awesome. Even though I struggled off the tee, I kept my game very simple and made some birdie putts along the way. I'm also very proud of our team. It's been great to see our team perform so well to start the fall season and we look forward to competing next week at Loyola." BUTLER FALL INVITATIONAL RECAP
