2024 MVC Basketball Tournament Tickets on Sale Friday

Discounted all-session tickets may be purchased through UIC Athletics Ticket Office prior to Jan. 16.

CHICAGO (Dec. 14, 2023) – Tickets for the 2024 Missouri Valley Conference men's and women's basketball tournaments will go on sale Friday, with the men's all-session passes available at 10 a.m. (CT), and the women's all-session and reserved single-session tickets slated to go live at noon (CT).
 
The State Farm MVC Men's Basketball Tournament — known uniquely as "Arch Madness" — will take place March 7-10 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis. The MVC Women's Basketball Tournament — referred to as "Hoops in the Heartland" — will be played March 14-17 inside Vibrant Arena at The MARK in Moline, Illinois (and the greater Quad Cities area).
 
Basketball fans eager to secure discounted all-session tickets for either 2024 MVC basketball tournament are encouraged to do so through the UIC Athletics Ticket Office before Jan. 16. Options for purchase include:
 
Non-discounted all-session tickets for both MVC basketball tournaments may be bought online through Ticketmaster or at the respective host arena box offices.
 
Of note, single-session/single-game tickets for Arch Madness will not be available for purchase as part of Friday's sales tipoff.
 
Arch Madness will be played for the 30th time at the Enterprise Center and 34th time overall in the city of St. Louis. It remains the second-longest neutral site college basketball postseason tournament in the nation.
 
State Farm MVC Men's Basketball Tournament (Arch Madness) Game Times (all times Central):
  • Session I – Thursday, March 7 – Noon & 30 minutes after Game 1 ends.
  • Session II – Thursday, March 7 – 6 p.m. & 30 minutes after Game 3 ends.
  • Session III – Friday, March 8 – Noon & 30 minutes after Game 5 ends.
  • Session IV – Friday, March 8 – 6 p.m. & 30 minutes after Game 7 ends.
  • Session V – Saturday, March 9 – 2:30 p.m. & 30 minutes after Game 9 ends.
  • Session VI – Sunday, March 10 – 1 p.m.
Hoops in the Heartland will be held in the Quad Cities for the ninth consecutive season. It will also mark the 17th year in a row the tournament is being contested at a neutral site.
 
MVC Women's Basketball Tournament (Hoops in the Heartland) Game Times (all times Central):
  • Session I – Thursday, March 14 – Noon & 30 minutes after Game 1 ends.
  • Session II – Thursday, March 14 – 6 p.m. & 30 minutes after Game 3 ends.
  • Session III – Friday, March 15 – Noon & 30 minutes after Game 5 ends.
  • Session IV – Friday, March 15 – 6 p.m. & 30 minutes after Game 7 ends.
  • Session V – Saturday, March 16 – 1:30 p.m. & 30 minutes after Game 9 ends.
  • Session VI – Sunday, March 17 – TBD
Both UIC basketball teams are off to solid starts this season, with the Flames' men currently owning a 6-4 record, including wins over crosstown rival Loyola, Atlantic 10 Conference power George Washington and Conference USA preseason favorite Middle Tennessee, all while consistently appearing in the top 100 of the NCAA NET rankings.
 
The UIC women are 5-3 this year, having defeated Loyola and Milwaukee, taking Power Five opponent Northwestern to overtime and battling NET top-40 opponent Green Bay deep into the second half on the road Wednesday night. That was the most recent of six early-season road contests for the Flames, who have steadily climbed into the top 150 of the NET rankings.
 
Both Flames teams are back home at Credit Union 1 Arena this weekend. The UIC women play host to Chicago State at 7 p.m. (CT) Friday, while the men take on Western Michigan at 1 p.m. (CT) Saturday.
