CHICAGO – The UIC women's tennis team was back in action Friday, as it played the first of two weekend contests. The Flames opened the weekend by hosting Toledo at the XS Tennis Village.

The Flames dropped the match by a final score of 6-1, with
Agnes Gustafsson and
Ana Jover winning their doubles match, and
Cora-Lynn von Dungern earning the lone point for UIC, winning her singles match 6-2, 6-3. The doubles victory for Gustafsson is her second in a row, as the junior also won in doubles paired with Jover at Western Michigan last week.

The Flames will be back in action Saturday, as they are set to travel to Milwaukee, Wisc. for a matchup with North Dakota. First serve between the Flames and Fighting Hawks is set for 11:00 a.m. CT.
