HOMEWOOD, ILL. – The UIC women's tennis team won it's third straight match Wednesday, knocking off Chicago State by a 4-3 final score.
 
DOUBLES

• Natalia Nikolopoulou and Cora-Lynn von Dungern were the first to finish their doubles match, a 6-1 triumph in the second doubles slot.
• Tamara Malazonia jumped into the number one doubles slot with Agnes Gustafsson, and the pair clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 win over CSU's Cali Fuller and Sofiya Sedovich.

 
SINGLES

• Nikolopoulou won her second straight singles decision, defeating Kristina Pukhaeva 6-0, 6-4.

• Gustafsson continued her strong play as of late, also winning her second consecutive singles match with two tie-break set wins 7-6 (4-0), 7-6 (6-0), earning the Flames the overall victory.
• Cora-Lynn von Dungern also used a tie-break win to help propel her to victory, defeating Sedovich 7-6 (2-0), 6-3.

 
The Flames will be back in action Saturday, as they head back to Milwaukee to take on Marquette. First serve is set for 11:00 a.m.
