NORMAN, OKLA. -- The UIC Softball Team (0-17) finished up its time in the OU Tournament Sunday afternoon falling to #17 Kentucky (12-5-1), 11-0.
- Before entering the circle for the Flames, senior Carlee Jo Clark earned her second hit of the tournament with a single out to right field.
- Junior Anna Walker began the top of the second inning with a double to right field for her team-leading 12th hit of the season.
- After Clark walked to begin the top of the fourth, fellow senior Alannah Cran singled to left field to move her teammate to scoring position.
- Clark pitched 2.2 innings, facing 17 batters during her outing and allowing only two earned runs. Senior Christina Toniolo finished the game in the circle for the Flames, pitching 1.1 innings in relief, walking and striking out one batter.
The Flames remain in tournament play next week when they travel to Clarksville, Tenn. to partake in the Governors Classic. They begin the tournament taking on the hosting Austin Peay (5-6) on Friday, Mar 10. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. CT.
