CHICAGO – UIC's men's tennis (5-10) will begin Southland Conference play on Friday as they take on Texas A&M - Corpus Christi (9-4). The Flames are home for their first conference match.
This will be the first time the Flames and Islanders will meet. UIC goes into the contest coming off a loss to IUPUI. The Flames earned the doubles point behind a 6-4 win from
Ammar Wazir and Aleska Bucan. The two also won their doubles match against Northwestern the week before (Feb. 26). In singles, Bucan earned a victory over his opponent.
First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m. from the XS Tennis Village. Admission is free for spectators, and on-location parking is also available free of charge.
