YPSILANTI, MICH. – UIC's women's tennis (5-5) will head east to take on Eastern Michigan (1-2) on Friday.
UIC has won six of the ten matchups against the Eagles. The last time the two teams met back in February of last year, the Flames were home, winning 4-3. During that match, UIC's top three singles players all won their matches, including a three-set victory by
Tamara Malazonia that clinched the team win.
The Flames go into the contest against the Eagles coming off their first road win. The Flames' fought back to earn the victory after losing the doubles point in their matchup against UW-Milwaukee. The team dominated the Panthers in singles.
