CHICAGO (Sept. 12, 2023) – The UIC men's soccer team (4-1-1) is set to open Missouri Valley Conference play Saturday, as it travels to Nashville, Tenn. to take on Belmont(3-1-2). The match will be the eighth all-time between the two teams, with UIC leading the series 5-1-1.

FLAMES FACTS
- Winners of two of their last three, the Flames enter conference play coming off their best start to a season since 2008.
- UIC was held below two goals offensively for the first time this season on Monday, its first loss of the season at Northwestern. The Flames are 4-0-1 when scoring the first goal of the match, as well as when they score two or more goals.
