CHICAGO (Sept. 20, 2023) – Sparky's Kids Club, the primary group for young fans to support UIC athletics, will have a revamped look for the 2023-24 season, it was announced Wednesday.
 
Presented by Portillo's, Sparky's Kids Club is free to join for children ages 13 and under. Members will receive a t-shirt, a lanyard and personalized game day credential, exclusive updates for parents on activities and opportunities for children to engage with UIC athletics, and special birthday and holiday cards from Sparky himself. In addition, club members will receive a 2024 back to school letter with a signed photo of Sparky.
 
As part of Sparky's Kids Club, members will earn free admission to all UIC athletics events other than men's and women's basketball. They will also receive discounted admission to one men's and one women's basketball games during the 2023-24 season.
 
Each UIC athletics team will offer one game each season that will be designated as a Sparky's Kids Club game. At that contest, there will be special pre-game events, such as a bounce house, face painting, coloring station, sign making, carnival activities and a meet & greet with Sparky.
