CHICAGO (Sept. 4, 2023) – The UIC men's soccer team (2-0-1) is set for a match-up with Big Ten foe Wisconsin (3-0-0) on Monday, as the Flames welcome the Badgers to Chicago for the first time since 2009.

FLAMES FACTS
- The Flames enter Monday night's match following a Friday draw in the third of four straight home matches to open the regular season.
- After Joshua Torres' match-opening goal just three minutes in against Oakland Friday, the Flames allowed two consecutive Golden Grizzlies goals before Sidney Warden netted the equalizer in the 74th minute to earn a 2-2 draw.
- UIC averages nearly three goals scored per match through the first three contests, while surrendering only three total goals in those same matches.
- Sidney Warden leads the way offensively for UIC, with a team-leading three goals with just two starts. Joshua Torres and Andres Lemus are tied for second on the team in scoring with two goals each.

- The Badgers made a huge splash in college soccer Friday night, as they hosted second-ranked Kentucky in Madison, Wis. The Badgers netted a second minute goal, and limited Kentucky to just four shots in the match, upsetting the Wildcats 1-0.
- Wisconsin comes to Chicago with an undefeated 3-0-0 record, with victories over Purdue Fort Wayne, as well as Missouri Valley Conference foe Drake.
- Averaging just over a goal per match, the Badgers rely heavily on their defense, which has yet to surrender a goal in its three victories on the year.
