CHICAGO (Jan. 15, 2024) – The UIC Department of Athletics and the Missouri Valley Conference announced Monday the Flames' women's basketball home game against Northern Iowa that was postponed last Friday (Jan. 12) has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 31. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m. (CT) at Credit Union 1 Arena and the game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
Fans who purchased tickets for the original Jan. 12 contest can use those tickets for the rescheduled game. If original ticket holders are unable to attend on the new game date, they can exchange their tickets for any other UIC women's basketball home game this season by contacting the UIC Athletics Ticket Office (312-413-UIC1/
athleticsticketing@UIC.edu) or visiting the Credit Union 1 Arena box office.
The Flames (8-7, 1-3 MVC) return to action next weekend, playing host to Bradley at 7 p.m. (CT) Friday and Illinois State at 1 p.m. (CT) Sunday, both at Credit Union 1 Arena. Sunday's Illinois State game is sponsored by UI Health Center and will be UIC's annual Play4Kay game, supporting the nationwide women's basketball initiative to raise funds towards research and a cure for all cancers affecting women.
Sunday's game against Illinois State is also the second of three UIC women's basketball games where fans have the opportunity to enjoy the Courtside Club at Credit Union 1 Arena. Club members receive a number of perks including early arena access, unlimited refreshments (including complimentary beer and wine) and a private lounge space with flat-screen televisions and theater-style furniture.
