CHICAGO (Oct. 26, 2024) – The UIC swimming and diving programs went toe-to-toe in the water against Southern Illinois Saturday afternoon, falling short in their first Missouri Valley Conference dual meet of the season.

COMMENT FROM HEAD COACH ASHLEY DELL

"I'm very proud of the way both the men and women competed today. Our goal was to be faster than we were two weeks ago, and they did exactly that. We put in time that are top eight in the Missouri Valley Conference in several events, and I know we are in a great spot as we wrap up October. We can't wait for our first home meet on Friday!"

COMMENT FROM ASSOCIATE HEAD COACH/HEAD DIVING COACH SUSAN BROMBERG

"I thought the divers did well in our second meet of the year. We had seven best scores of the season today, and Christian Curtis had a personal best in the three-meter event. He achieved a zone cut in the event!"
